About me
Since
1998, I've been partnering with for-profit and nonprofit
organizations to help them articulate their messages
through various types of printed and online communications.
I specialize
in writing success stories and/or translating scientific
findings for a lay audience, but my broad experience
includes all types of internal and external marketing
and business communications.
With more than
30 years of experience in preparing materials for
print, I offer valued-added services such as graphic
design, photography, and print management. Several
clients have relied on me to directly input copy into
their online databases for instant publication to
the Web.
Over the years, I have conducted many
hundreds of interviews with people from all walks
of life: scientists, professors, politicians, civil
servants, business executives, industrialists, laborers,
craftspeople, artists, farmers, ranchers, doctors,
philanthropists, spiritual teachers, and more. My
goal is always the same: to seek to understand the
interviewee's area of expertise so I can clearly communicate
a message.
Some of my current and former clients
include:
- Oregon State University (Colleges of Business,
Forestry, Veterinary Medicine, and Pharmacy; numerous
professors)
- USDA Forest Service, Pacific Northwest Research
Station
- Oregon Employment Dept., Child Care Division
- Consumers Power, Inc.
- The Benton County Foundation
- Georgia-Pacific
- Sound Science
As an environmentally aware and concerned individual,
I choose to work with clients who make sustainability
a priority. If you are striving to make a positive
difference in the world, let's talk about how I can
use my skills to help you or your organization advance
your cause.
